Parent offices (MFO & funds)
How multi-family offices and fund houses are billed monthly at an agreed price, and what that means for client or fund workspaces.
Parent offices (MFO & funds)
Multi-family offices and fund houses use a parent organisation. Billing sits on that parent—not on each client or fund workspace.
Agreed monthly invoice
After scoping how many families or funds you serve, FamilyOFX sets an agreed monthly EUR amount on the parent. Stripe sends a monthly invoice. You can pay and manage payment methods from Settings → Billing on the parent (Manage billing).
This is separate from the published Personal / Pro / Generational cards for single family offices.
Creating client or fund organisations
| Parent subscription | New child organisation |
|---|---|
| Not yet invoiced / unpaid | Created on Personal limits |
| Active paid invoice subscription | Created with Pro working limits |
Existing children are not automatically changed when the parent plan starts or lapses; new children follow the table above.
Where to look in the product
- Parent Settings → Billing — agreed amount, status, usage across children, and Manage billing
- Client or fund billing for child orgs is managed by the parent (children cannot open self-serve Checkout)
