Deal flow

Deal Flow (/dealflow) is a kanban board for tracking opportunities before they become portfolio positions.

Board

• Columns — configurable stages (e.g. Screening, IC, Passed)
• Cards — deals with title, description, notes, linked contacts/companies
• Drag cards between columns to update stage

Deal detail

Open a card to see:

• Attached documents (pitch decks, memos)
• Linked chat threads for diligence conversations
• Metadata and edit form

Creating deals from chat

Ask the assistant to create a deal from a pitch deck or email — it should not create a portfolio position for a pipeline opportunity. Documents on the current message link automatically.

Deals execute immediately in chat (no approval queue) unlike portfolio mutations.
