Real Positions (/real-assets) tracks illiquid physical assets: property, art, collectibles, and other real assets.

Valuations

Use Point in Time Valuation transactions when appraisals or periodic marks arrive. Include the as-of date (DD/MM/YYYY) and notes from the appraisal.

Costs

Property taxes, insurance, and maintenance may be recorded as Costs or fee transactions — link to the asset where possible.

Hierarchy

A property company can be a position with operating subsidiaries as child positions when you hold multiple related lines.
